Monique has practiced exclusively in the area of Family Law since January 2008.
Monique graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Degree in Media in 2005 and a Bachelor of Laws in 2007. She was admitted the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia in 2008.
Monique has been practicing Law for more than a decade commencing as a solicitor at BBS Lawyers in January of 2009. Whilst her tenure at BBS Lawyers accounts for a significant portion of her experience, during her career she has held similar roles at both Wallmans Lawyers and Norman Waterhouse exclusively within their family law practices.
As an experienced family lawyer, Monique provides comprehensive advice in all areas of family law, including property settlement (matrimonial and de facto), spousal maintenance, de facto relationship disputes, parenting disputes including the relocation of children, domestic violence and allegations of abuse, child support and divorce.
Monique completed her mediation accreditation in 2011 at Bond University, together with Interdisciplinary Collaborative Training at the Adelaide Collaborative Centre. Her training in mediation and collaborative law, together with her experience in family law and common-sense approach, has enabled her to effectively assist her clients to resolve their disputes amicably through negotiation, mediation or collaboration. If litigation is required, Monique has extensive experience and offers confident representation of her clients.
Monique is compassionate and approachable. She is dedicated to providing guidance to her clients in navigating through a difficult time in their lives and assisting them to, and supporting them in, achieving the best possible outcome.
Monique is also member of the Law Society of South Australia.
