Stephanie Lian

Stephanie joined BBS Lawyers as a Senior Associate in June 2025.

Stephanie holds a double degree in Law and Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Adelaide, graduating in 2011. She was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2012 and the High Court of Australia in 2015.

Stephanie completed her Master of Applied Law (Family Law) in 2018.

Stephanie has worked primarily in family law since 2015.

Stephanie is known for her straightforward, practical approach. She understands that family law issues are deeply personal and emotionally charged but also that clients want clarity, direction, and a pathway forward. Stephanie’s focus is always on helping people make informed decisions to resolve matters efficiently.

Stephanie has experience in all aspects of family law, including property and financial matters, children’s or parenting issues, divorce applications, and binding financial agreements. Stephanie can advise and support clients through a negotiated settlement or in litigation if that is necessary.

Stephanie has also worked in estate planning and so brings that knowledge to her practice of family law at BBS Lawyers.

Stephanie is a member of the Law Society of South Australia and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
