Will Barnes
BBS Lawyers are sad to say farewell to Will Barnes who has been an integral member of our team for the past 10 years.
Will has left the practice of law to embark on a new career.
We wish him continued success in his future endeavours.
Will graduated from the University of South Australia in 2015 with a Bachelor of Laws.
He went on to complete his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Australian National University. In 2017 Will was admitted to the Supreme Courts of South Australia and New South Wales, as well as the High Court of Australia.
Will has practiced exclusively in Family Law since his admission. He has advised clients through litigation in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in both property and parenting matters. Will has had experience in some uncommon areas of practice including undefended trials, contravention applications and difficult divorce applications.
Will has also successfully guided many clients through a negotiated settlement. As such he has had significant experience drafting Consent Orders, Binding Financial Agreements and Child Support Agreements.
Will is thorough and gives every matter the highest level of attention to detail. He is an excellent communicator and meticulous in his preparation of documents.
Will is a member of the Law Society of South Australia and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
